Surgeing RPMs when rolling to a stop

A new issue. When I'm rolling to a stop, with the clutch pushed in, the RPMs surge up and down from 1200-2200 RPMs.

Any thoughts on why?

whats your coolant level? -not temp but actual level in the radiator ect...

Vacuum leak?

Does it do it when you are on the brake or not?

The RPMs calm down after a second or two once I come to a stop.

I'll have to check for a vac leak and the coolant level.

Being a manual transmission, you have to check the dash-pot on the throttle body. Check the PDF..
A dash-pot keeps the throttle plate from slamming shut on decel, allowing it to close slowly to reduce emissions

To find a vacuum leak you can spray "something" on the lines while the engine is running. When/if the engine stumbles, it's sucking the spray into the leak/engine. I'm trying to remember what spray to use. I don't want to destroy rubber or things from the wrong spray.

Anyone know what to use?

I'm going to have to do the vacuum line check again. Maybe I missed something. I did change out my IAC but it didn't change anything.
