surging forward when at stop

my V8 does it too. checked with the dealer when i bought it and they said its normal.

checked with the dealer i use now and they said all of them do it, but its more noticeable with the V8's because of the amount of power on the low end.

FWIW my surging because very noticeable right before I discovered that one of the calipers had two stuck pistons.

Mine does it to, getting worse AKA stronger.

It’s definitely NOT normal. Mine was doing it for quite a while.

I replaced my pads and rotors and fixed a stuck passenger rear caliper and it hasn’t done it since then.

Be sure you have ALL of the hardware when doing your pads and rotors, including JR slide pins and boots. Be sure to grease the pins (not dripping with grease) prior to installing them

I have an '08 V6 and notice a surge when AC clutch engages/disengage. Surge never was that bad but got worse with time. Had 110K on original brakes, so I figure its time for new pads. After brake job it is much easier to control that surge.

Its a very noticable surge upto 400 rpm when the engine is cold. About 30 seconds and 30 seconds off. Does all of the time, makes it impossible to maintain a steady speed.

Anyhow I'm not sure what brake could have to do with that?

EDIT : 400rpm in the V8 model is a lot of additional power especially when stopped
