Suspension Clank

Does KDSS 4Runner have metalic clunk over potholes and speed bumps or is it something else I should be looking for. I seem to hear it both in front and rear but both on passenger side. Should I be concerned?

How fast were you going? At low speeds (<12mph IIRC) you might hear KDSS open up.

Edit: it’s been a while since I’ve had a KDSS-equipped vehicle but I remember what could be described as a clunk when KDSS opened up at low speeds.

All stock plus KDSS.

Street speed 35-45 mph.

Hitting a pot hole or a speed bump at 35-45 mph will make a lot of things clunk. I would say the first thing to look for is a slower speed.

My last clunk was the hood. I adjusted the little rubber stoppers and it went away.
