Suspension done, trying to figure out what size tire

So the leaking X Reas has been removed and new suspension is on. Ended up going with new FJ coils in the rear only, and then Bilstein shocks on all 4. Also had them replace the front rotors and pads, and also added the spidertrax all around and I am real happy with the results. I originally wanted to do new FJ coils on the front as well but the shop talked me out of it and in the end I am very happy with the ride. I asked them about the X Reas and there was zero pressure left, so it explains why it was riding as bad as it was. Right now I am riding 265-65-17's and trying to figure out what size to go with. They said I could go with 285-70-17's but I am leaning more towards the 265-70-17's. Any suggestions? Here is a picture I snapped yesterday so let me know what you guys think as far as tire size. Looks great! I'm jealous of your lack of snow as well!

As for tires, I prefer the look and performance a skinny, tall tire.

I'd run a 255/80/R17 which is a 33x10

But that's just me.

Keep in mind that if you want a full size spare in the stock location the biggest you can run is a 275/70/17. That's probably what I'm picking up soon.

Here is another pic, I am up about 1/2 to 3/4 higher in the back but it should settle in after a while. I still am a bit lower on the drivers side as well, about 1/4-1/2 inch depending if I am sitting in it or not, but hard to notice it to the eye. Leaning towards the 265-75-17's, either the BF AT or the DuraTracs. I had the goodyears before and they were quite and lasted along time. I could just ride these out but they have about 70% tread left so I can sell them off.

I am a believer of bigger is better. Go with 285/70/17's. I am running Terra Grapplers and I love them.

I would go 305-65-17.... I am running 285/70/17 and they are great, actually my second set, but I am going 305-65-17 next time.

lol...all good. Ok so lots of suggestions for bigger tires but those of you who are making these suggestions also have alot more lift then I do.

i went with 265/70/17 and regret it. I wish i went with the 285s at the time of purchase. not much difference in price for a large difference in looks.

I gotta ask but what's YOUR objective for YOUR truck? A lot of folks recommending larger tires like them for their off road benefits or looks but there are drawbacks such as cost and weight and fitment.

Unless you're ready to do a lot of trimming, I wouldn't go any bigger than 275/70/17. You'll need more lift if you go bigger. Id go with those, 265/70/17, or 255/75/17.

My truck is my daily driver, but do want to play off road as well. However I don't want to much tire where I need to trim like crazy and have issues when I do flex the suspension. So bigger isn't always better, I am not trying to stuff the biggest tires on just for looks.
