Suspension install

Zero point calibration...

After my lift, my 5th gen has been kick on the traction control on the road when I dont need it on. On a recent trip, it kicked on often and one time almost had me in an accident.

Anyone on here familiar with the process and can help do the zero point calibration?

I have heard of that being a problem early on with our 5th gens. I went up a couple of inches, but didn't notice any additional sensitivity. The answer is in the 5th Gen threads.

Hahaha usually yes sarcasm but not that time lol. I was gonna give you the steps on how to do it to walk you through it. It's very easy and all you will need is two paper clips and 15 mins.

I have no problem doing it for you ..but it is simple for the most part.

Thanks guys, i have reviewed the thread multiple times and it's intimidating for me. May end up just taking it to the dealer. Good to know they fixed it in later 5th gens.

That's going to be an expensive trip. It would cost you less to drive to one of us to give you a hand.

I had this exact same issue (2.5" toytec/bilstein lift). For me it usually happened on long/drawn-out turns (the highway up to big bear & the 71/91 freeway interchange. I took it to Japanese Car Specialties per [MENTION=25058]ChildrenOfBodom[/MENTION] recommendation- super friendly & helpful shop. However, even after they performed the calibration reset- driving the next day I had the VSC kick on again when it shouldn't.:frusty: That was a few months ago and it hasn't happened since thankfully, although I have made a conscious effort to take longer turns pretty slow.

Did you end up taking yours to the dealer?
