Suspension issue with Moog & Bili 5100s

This week I had my stock suspension replaced. I have a 2006 SR5 4WD w/ 120k on the odo.

I decided to go with Bilstein 5100s and Moog OEM springs all the way around.

Moog v6 replacement 81090 in the front with the 5100s set to the lowest setting and moog 81045 with 5100s in the rear.

The front now sits a full 2 inches higher than the rear- not what I was looking for. I am really unsure of why this is, ive looked at other threads which have done similar installs that have not seen this kind of front lift.

Any suggestions???

[MENTION=116758]forestgump[/MENTION] Take a look at the front spring perches on the 5100's, the springs should slide over the perches and rest on the bottom and end, not have the springs sit on the perches and they continue down. See below:

Grab a couple pictures of your front struts. It's likely you put the perch upside down.

That's the VERY wrong way.

Yup. Perch is upside down. I didnt do the install, a local shop did. Looks like they better comp. a reinstall.

Hopefully you or they still have the instructions. Show those to them if needed. Instructions even have pictures of correct way to mount.

Yeah, still have em. They had the instructions when they installed so there should be no excuses.

That's incredibly sad that a shop installed them like that. I'm guessing they aligned it like that too, right?

Yeah, not good work at all. I'd argue for them to refund you and set it straight at no cost. I mean, install ain't cheap, and putting you in danger (which is exactly how you should phrase it) isn't why you come to a professional shop for work...
