Suspension Issues

I have a 2000 with a 3" lift. I bought it used with 165K. there's tons of play in the rack(steering) I had it replaced, Tie-rods replaced, rear shocks replaced and it still has a weird squeeking, clunking over bumps. If I go on an angle over a dip, it has a loud thug and feels like something is definatly wrong. The suspension guys at my local goodyear store says they cant find anything wrong. I just shelled out $1500 on trying to preserve this thing for another yr or 3, just curious if anyone else has had similar issues

I'm posting from an iPhone so I apologize if it's listed somewhere but what front coils are you running? Too much lift can cause the UCA to make contact with the spring itself. It also doesn't have enough down travel. Did you replace both inner and outer tie rods? Check LBJ or replace lca?

i took it in today. its the rear upper trailering arm..weird

Glad you figured it out. What was wrong with the rear upper control arm? Broken? I ask because if the "suspension guys" at Goodyear missed that, they aren't living up to their name very well.

Breaking a rear UCA isn't that uncommon. I know Driffter33 has snapped at least 2 of them. If the problem persists, you may want to look into making some custom UCAs like mine..
