Suspension Lift - 1994 TR4

Hi, I've recently got my hands on a 1994 T4R and I'm thinking of doing a suspension lift. There are a tone of options as to brand of shocks, kit etc. I just need some advice as to how to proceed.

Ask yourself what you are seriously going to be doing with it. Serious crawling, adventure vehicle, dirt road runner, or just a flashy daily driver?

Make a post in your gen forum, you'll get a lot more useful responses. I just happened to stumble on this through boredom.

Check out toytec, sonoran, and cornfed. That should give you some ideas to start. Or go all out with upper control arms and coilovers.

A lot of guys build something they "plan" on using all the time. Then rethink things after they have 10-20k wrapped up into a rig. So think for a while and pick a direction to stick with.

Yep, and on a serious note, you get what you pay for..... if you're going to keep the truck for years to come, save up for a great lift, dont settle for something that will begin to fall apart after 1 trip on the trails.

Bilsteins is what a lot of people run here. They have a few different notches to gain different levels of lift, well the 5100's do. Do a quick search on the forum to pull up lift specs on your vehicle. Then read through a few builds to get an idea of what you want to do.
