Suspension lift

I'm considering a Revtek 3" suspension lift for my 05 4runner. it will cost around $730 including install out the door. is this a decent or fair price? any opinions on other brands? i have no experience with this sort of stuff and need someone else's opinion. also i need wheels and tires. this lift should fit up to 285/75/R16... do i need that big of tires for a 3" lift or would i be fine with smaller tires?

Some other member was talking about a Les Schwab special in the very high $600's I think, $730 doesn't doesn't sound crazy. 265/75/16's will work well and look good. With 285's you'll have some UCA (upper control arm rubbing) with the wheel fully cut.

First off, start with the search feature. There're lots of threads on lifts and tires. Stock wheels will most likely work for you too to save some money. A 2/1 or 3/2 spacer lift and 265/70R17 (or 16" equivalent) and spidertrax wheel spacers will get you the most lift for the $. If you really plan to off-road, spend the extra on coilovers or OME suspension. For a mall-raider or mild off-road, spacers are fine.
