suspension question

05 sr5 2wd v6. new front and rear kyb shocks, and new front coil springs.

Still seems to bottom out on front end more than I would expect.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I did the same with Kyb, did the work myself. Then had it aligned. Could be better but this behavior is common with this 4 runner. Mine is not bottoming out, perhaps a part or install quality issue? I did not do springs.

Probably not what you want to hear but ...

Unfortunately my experience with KYB stuff is, you get what you pay for: they are pretty weak. They really don't last either.

I've been a Bilstein fan now for many years, used their stuff on several of my cars and ZERO complaints. They are worth every penny.

I did the work myself. Actually the third vehicle that i have replaced the suspension, the 4runner being the easiest. It rides better than before new parts, but left wondering.

i should have gone with the bilsteins. I put them on a ram 2500 diesel i had and liked them alot. poop.
