To each their own, I wanted the limited for the leather with the heated and cooled seats, push button start, and the sound system mainly. I realize you can probably get all those aftermarket cheaper, but I didn’t want the hassle since it’s all there from the factory. I like the full time 4wd system, but would have been happy with the part time also. While I don’t hate the front/rear ends, I would rather have the trail ends, but for the cost you’re almost at steel bumpers it seems.

The heated and cooled leather would be nice, I agree there. The sound system even in the limited in stock form leaves a lot to be desired but in fairness i'm an audiophile and it takes A LOT to impress me. Believe it or not, the push button start was one of the deal breakers for me on my 2016 Tacoma and 2016 4Runner. Hate it, give me a regular old key.
You can’t really compete with aftermarket as far as sound, but I find the limited stock system to be pretty good. I play music, and love listening when the sound is good, but at this point i’m not terribly interested in paying at least a couple grand for a sound system. We don’t want to give up space in the cargo area. I had a cr-v before this, and that had one of the worst sound systems I’ve ever heard, so this is a godsend lol.

lol I hear ya. 10K is about what you'll spend to get a true high end car audio system. You can go MUCH higher than that but that's about where my ears start to get happy. An incredible system can be built without losing an inch of cargo space. Just costs more to do it that way since fiberglass enclosures would be involved. Even the SR5 stock system wasn't bad in terms of stock systems though. Better than a lot of other vehicles out there.
Looking for verification here...my wife smashed the front (and someone subsequently hit the rear) of my '16 TP while I was out of town last week. No structural damage but both bumpers need replacing.
I would like for the body shop to order the TRD front bumper, black panel cover, grille, etc and rear bumper cover and black panel cover. I'm assuming the front and rear TRD bumpers mate up on a Trail Premium without issue? I went to my local dealer today and he printed off what he thinks are the correct part numbers but wasn't very confident. Any insight appreciated!

Am I correct that you can swap a SR5 front bumper with a TRD Pro bumper without modification (cutting, trimming, alternate mounting points, etc.)?
I have an SR5 Premium XP Predator that I’m looking to switch out the bumper on. My current bumper got dinged and scraped badly from a gravel truck in front of me. I figured since I’m replacing it, that maybe it makes sense to go ahead and replace the stock (5211935912) with the TRD Pro (5211935914) bumper. Then I’d have to purchase the lower valance. My SR5 already has the TRD Pro grill and name plate.
Appreciate any feedback and guidance I can get.

Yeah, I have the Toyota name plate already. Hopefully I can re-use all the existing mounting hardware, then just purchase the valance and valance clips.
Have had the 4-Runner for less than a week and already got its first scar.
Its prolly going to get more unless you just pound the pavement only.
If its not terrible you might want to leave it.
Unfortunately, it’s pretty bad. Luckily, it only got the bumper and no other body parts. Huge chunks of paint missing with significant dings. Thought about swapping with an off-road bumper, but I’m digging the natural style. May throw on a grill/brush guard.
