Swapped engine questions

I have a '87 t4r. It originally had the 6 cylinder and now has the 22-r swapped in. I want to replace the fuel filter and air filter but I'm unsure if I need parts for the original engine or the current one. I would assume the fuel filter would need the original and the air filter needs the one for the current. I'd rather have the correct parts the first time than have to fool with returning a wrong part.

does it have the 22re airbox? im assuming so, but have never even seen a 3.0 to 22r conversion in person. I know it happens, just never seen it, not sure what all is swapped.
you need the filter for whichever air box its using, regardless of the engine.

Today I replaced the air filter, fuel filter, and oil. All for the 4cyl (the only option for that year). Wich makes me wonder if it had a 4cyl, then a 6 cylinder swapped in and then back to the 22r.

The fuel filter was a little tricky but not as bad as expected.

what makes you think it ever had the v6?

The guy I bought it from told me it did. He had the 22r put in.

I think the next item on my list is cleaning the throttle body.

I cleaned the throttle body as best as I could without taking it off. I used brake parts cleaner, paper towels and Q - tips. I would like to take it off sometime and get the other side clean too.
