Sway-away vs Radflo 2.5" fronts

I've seen some complaints about the SAWs and the corrosion resistance. I don't know anything else about them really.
Also, the Radflos (if you ask for OW spec) are valved specifically for the 4runners while the SAWs are FJ Cruiser spec'd... but you might be able to get them valved differently? I'm really not sure about that.
You'd probably do better asking this on an FJ Cruiser forum because some of those guys are running them. I haven't seen anyone here running SAWs. There was a person or two on toyota120.com running them on 4Runners but IIRC both of those guys changed to something different. That's also why they aren't mentioned in the FAQ thread (not an FAQ).

I've ridden in both.
The Sway a ways were much harsher when hitting things at speed. Almost to the point where the owner considered having them sent back to them to be re-calibrated. Flexing was fine, but felt stiff around town.
The OW Radflo's ride similar to my Icon's. Firm without any harshness. Even at stock weight (no bumper, no gear) it felt pretty good. I've said this before....if i was to do it all over again, I would go with 2.5" Radflo's with OW specs.

Thankyou. I think after doing more reading on the 120 forum the sway away following is small. Radflo is small too, but if I can get the old OW valving it will be ideal.

Matt, didn't you have a SAW component on your truck at one point? Maybe not a Coilover but I thought you had rear shocks or coils or something? Am I going nuts here?

Roger that! Dude, I can't stand USPS...
I am so torn. Right now I have both Bilstein & OME dampers. I like the firmer OME dampers feel vs the Bilstein's softer feel. I have piggyback Fox's on the other truck that I had custom valved and they had the right feel. My Ohlins on my car are just right. I am thinking that the RadFlo's with OW valving 'might' be the right compromise for the 4Runner..
