Sway bar bushing frustration

Just curious, are the EnergySuspension bushings poly? If so, why did you chose them over rubber ones? Only reason I ask is that poly bushing are notorious for having a rough ride. (not sure how they are on just sway bars though)

Also, where are you a realtor? I'm a season Mortgage Banker, maybe we could help eachother out.

Hey Pit, Yeah the ES bushings are poly. I've heard the poly's offer a slightly better response wrt handling (less body roll), etc... I'm in Delaware, flatland, so my offroad time consists of sand, snow, and the occasional unplowed field Basically I figure its an inexpensive way to get a bit more responsive handling without dropping a couple hundred on Addco's 1st. I'm sure in the long run i'll switch them out for the adds' though, from what i've read they're well worth the money for what i'm looking for.

On the side note, I do still have my RE license, in relo, however I switched over to the dark side in Nov. of last year, and i'm now an L.O. for the company with the big stagecoach I'm one of you guys now... How you liking your new compensation plan? I'm still new to the game so just trying to learn all the new/everchanging rules and regs thanks to Frank/Dodd, but i'd definately like to pick your brain on some things.

from what I read, you need to jack it up to get the load off the sway bar. and yes the techical term are links, but I make names up for most things called thingy's and eventually the real name comes forth. lol...
I am sure there are more mastery ways or somthing. now i get to do it agian since my links are bent and rusted.

No need to jack the truck up. The sway bar should move by hand if it's greased and torqued properly.

Dew, brian, thanks guys for the info. I definately prefer to dig up as much info as possible before I start ripping stuff apart, but it sounds like its pretty straight forward as long as things aren't to bad underneath.
