Just put on my sway bar bushings... damn. what a pita! They had never been changed, and I can't tell by the pic, but I think it's bad! :)

I had to get new brackets/bolts/nuts for them b/c I literally had to saw off the old ones with a sawzall. My sway bar was a little rusted under the old bushings so I sanded it down and then rustoleum'ed it. I got the polyurethane bushing from wheelers and the brackets from the stealer. Best thing is, NO SQUEAKS!!!!!! bushings had 143k miles on them!!!!

could you tell me where you got the bushings. I seen a mention on this site of one that can be lubricated do you know anything about that, are yours?.

the greasables are from energy suspension. mine are from wheelers and not fitted with zerks. to grease mine you have to take them off. I wouldve gone with the greasables but
never got around to measuring diameter of sway bar so I went with the kit
from wheelers.

my bushings had 164k when i replaced them.

They looked just like yours, i kept them as a souvenir...

I also went with wheelers and they're great. I didn't replace my factory bumpstops though.

i didn't do my bumpstops... i wonder how hard they'd be to unscrew on my truck since everything else is pretty must rust-fused.

Pulled this from J.A.'s site. in case anyone was wondering

9-5165-G, 1 1/4" greasable sway bar bushings, black
9-5161-G, 1" greasable sway bar bushings, black

Keep in mind these part #'s are for the thicker Addco sways. Stock sway diameters are 1" for the front and 3/4" for the rear....
