*For the months of April, and May I'm only making STANDARD links. I will not be making disconnects for 3rd Gen's due to parts not being available. I will entertain making other Gen front disco's on a per member basis.
*Link will NO LONGER BE FOR SALE starting June 1st. With my wife and leaving in July to travel I will not be able to continue to make links on a regular basis. The plan is to hold Group Buys a couple times a year for my links.

Just a reminder that May 31st will be my last day of accepting new orders. If you're on the fences about getting links don't miss out.

Once May 31st comes around I don't know when I'll be making links again. I'll most likely have a Group Buy before then end of the year, but that's not set in stone.

For the time being I'm no longer making sway bar links. With upcoming travel plans, and life altering events I have to step away from making links for the time being. Many of you know that my wife and I will be hitting the road this summer to travel for an undetermined amount of time, and that means I'll be unable to build links while we're on the road. My goal was to continue to make sway bar links until the beginning of June, but things are a bit out of control right now. With trying to finish our vehicle, make links, pack, move, and see family. I just don't have the time that I need to get everything done. All current orders will be finished, and no new orders will be accepted.

If you interested in my sway bar links please PM, and I'll keep a list going of the members who're interested. If I open up sales again, or offer a Group Buy I'll reach out to all members who've contacted me.

I use a paste when working with dissimilar metals to help reduce the galvanic corrosion. Certain environments are most susceptible to this than others. Areas with high salt light coastal states or states that still use road salt have higher risks. To date I haven't had any issues with corrosion, but I also have only sold a couple aluminum sets.

The joints you are using are rated radially for 16200 lbs and axially for 1620 lbs (10% to 15% of radial). This being the case, a 4runner weighing 4500 lbs could cause the ball to come out of the joint if you are teetering on two wheels.

I was looking at building my own and like the simplicity of your front double disconnects, and being an engineer I don't like loading things in ways they were not intended.

Unless I misunderstood the question, the only load the joints are carrying in this scenario would be the weight of the suspension on the lifted side. For the front with one side fully stuffed, that link is in tension pulling up on sway bar. Other side drooping down, that link is in compression with stabilizer preventing it from drooping as much as it could. The tension/compression in the links would be limited by the torsion limit of the stabilizer.

The rear would be similar except the droop side would be in tension. I personally know you can pull the rear OEM links out of the frame bracket. I may have possibly forgotten to disconnect the stabilizer when jacking the axle down to install a spacer lift one time. :tsk:
