Sway bar removal ??

Hey guys I was wondering who has there front sway bar removed ? And how does it handle within reason for daily driving ? I have rear removed but wanna remove front .... Any advice ??? Thoughts? Thanks

I've got mine disconnected (broke a link so just cut the other off for now) and it handles fine around town. I am lifted on TRD springs, but around freeway on-ramps it can get a little sketchy. I just slow down and everything is fine. I am going to hook it back up as soon as I get some extra cash though, cuz I don't like my wife driving it with our baby like that.

Trust me on this one ... I ran with it disconnected for over a year and then re-installed it with extended links from StickFigure

--> long story short: get the extended links and leave it on for DD.

i think it also depends on what suspension you have up front too.
when i had my worn out stock suspension with the sway off it was almost scary at times.
now with my 2.5 icons its fine with no sway.

im running about 2-2.5" of lift up front, tundra TRD coils on tundra 5100s(all new). i ran with out sway bars for about 3-4 months up front, yeah its not hwy friendly at all. any type of quick manuver like avoiding something in the road, or a car the pulls out in front of you or decides to change lanes right in front of you, you better be on your toes and not easily scared... you will get a lot of body roll. i agree just get the extended heavy duty sway bar end-links from stickfigure amd call it a day. they are more than worth it and craftsman ship is just fine

Is it that hard to unbolt the links when you go offroading? I drove around for 8 months with no swaybars, i hated it, didnt know the links were broken till i changed my struts and rear shocks.

Yeah i will go with the longer front links, Just was wondering whats some people thoughts where that have had both sway bars off, i have had the rear of for while now and was curious on front. looks like new bushings and longer links it is! thanks again every one!

I have a 95 and the first thing I did was take it off and sling it threw the woods, My ride still hangs the road just fine.
