Sway Bars

are there any engine sway bars out there for 3rd gens? Does anyone think it would make much of a difference to have one? Also on the left side of my hood there is a larger gap between the body and hood then there is on the right. I think something must not be in line with the panels or something that holds it together may not be straight anymore. (i do have a tendency to drive it hard on turns if that could twist something)

sway bar for engines? - I assume you mean a strut bar/strut brace. I havent seen one.

You can get larger sways from addico.

Probably just need to adjust the fender by loosening the bolts to correct the gap difference you see around your hood.

A strut bar wont correct your body issues. You may notice some more rigidity and stiffness to the body when turning, but these aren't race cars so maybe just take the corners a little slower?

Strut bar wont do squat. This is a tin can on a steel frame. The frame is what takes the loads when cornering, not the body. In fact, there aren't even any strut towers to tie together under the hood. They live in the wheel arches and are welded to the frame.

As for the hood, you can adjust it by loosening the bolts on the hinges and moving it around until it lines up and then tightening again. This is best done with a helper. If that doesn't work, your body may not be straight (accident).
