Switch for Driving Lights

Has anyone had luck with making a switch to manually turn off/on the driving lights on a 2000 4R? Thanks.

Are you talking about the daytime running lights, aka DRLs?

Ok it's very easy to disable on the '00s. There is a gray colored plug right in front of your battery nearest the fender behind the driver's side headlight that needs to be unplugged. That's all you have to do. I taped off my plug ends with electrical tape and zip tied the tape just to prevent water from getting in. You will need to slide the battery over in order to reach the plug.
