Switch from 17" Sport to 18" Limited Rims. Any suggestions?

These are the current rims I have...

I have a V6 SE and wanted to upgrade the 17" rims to 18" Gunmetal Limited rims. I know there is going to be some change from a bigger rim/tire but I don't know what to expect?

Will this affect:
Speedometer?
Mileage?
Ride quality?
Fender clearance?
Acceleration?
Braking?
Handling?



-Does anyone have any for sale I'm also up for a trade?

Stock size on the limited wheel is 265/60/18. Which will be the same overall size as the Sports 265/65/17. I upgraded to the limited wheels this weekend and bought 265/65/18 size tires. I sit a bit taller, there is a little less clearance and the speedo is off a bit (Says 60 and im really doing about 61.5) Check out that thread though.

To answer your question, no I haven't seen anything like that. But then where I live it's not really a problem.

If you're worried about snow sticking, just put some pam on your wheels.

If you want to go to 18's, the truck will handle better, but you'll hit rocks easier if you actually offroad.

As for any other changes- only overall tire diameter makes a difference. So it's tire size, not rim size. If you run stock 18's, there won't be a change in mpg/mph etc.

Punch your tire sizes into a online tire calculator and you'll see if your speedo will change.

BTW, those dunlops suck. I ditched mine with 5000 miles on them.
