Sylvania SilverStars at Kragen

Went by Kragen to pick some up for the 05 4Runner SE, and it turns out they have a sale on them. Buy 2 headlights and get 20 bux off. 10 instant rebate and 10 mail in. Got a set of lows and highs $60. Normally $100 at Kragen.

The lady told me the sale is until the 26th. Just an FYI for anyone thinking about getting some.

I actually bought my Silverstars at Wal Mart for $25.00 per 2 pack. I did lows and fogs.

some people here have complained about those bulbs burning out in a year. Sylvania told they that those are HIGH PERFORMANCE bulbs and you can't expect them to last as long.

Mine are over a year old and they get used everyday since I work nites. My fogs should last alot longer since I'm not one of those people that drives with them on all the time for show.

I figure if one burned out now I'd most likely get another set.

I had a set of the H1 bulbs for my Acura, they blew out in less then 3 weeks. I took them back and got a refund, then spent the money on real HID's and never went back. I was not really impressed with the light output of the SilverStars.

Its a bulb made by Sylvania. Its just a whiter light output.
