I had a bulb out and always replace in pairs, so I thought Id give the Silverstars a go. I cant believe how much light these things throw and how clear white they are! I really feel guilty now when Im behind a car as Im certain Im blinding them. Best $40 I ever spent!:wow:

Im actually worried about driving behind a cop at night now though, Im scared I might get pulled over for them.

i don't got sliverstars but some phillips vision plus just the low beam has tint that and my 4 off road lights make night time driving better

if u got the ones from walmart then they are only the regular silverstars not the ultras. The ultras are like 60 for a pair... i have the reg silverstars on all my lights facing front and i love them though i do plan to change to some HIDs soon. my silverstars have lasted me about 2+ years and still work great! The key is to make sure ur fingers and really NOTHING touches the bulbs.

Id have to check which they are. They were like $38 at Wal Mart.

They had one more model above mine for more $$. I do remember on the back of the package, they compare all of the models and mine was the second from the top model they made. I cant imagine ID want any brighter, these rock.

And thats great advice on not touching the bulbs, people always forget this. The oils in our skin act as a corrosive on the bulbs and even touching them once will greatly diminish the life of such bulbs. Ive known this for years, but surprisingly Ive noticed they dont always mention this on packages anymore.

If you knew me, you wouldnt have said that, lol. Im thinking I might have like 6 weeks left on them :sadwave:

if you just put them in and didn't touch the glass like xskydivingdudex said, they should last at LEAST a year. i'm pretty sure the bulbs have a one year warranty on them anyway

lol ya most ppl know this but forget to actually do this. My friend and i had a talk about this and when he installed his silverstars, he actually touched it and it only lasted over a year and now hes on his second set.

The easiest way to tell which silverstars u have is by the color of the packaging. If the packaging was silver and blue then its the regular ones and if its the gold and orange one then its the ultra. The ultras are only a bit brighter and whiter but kinda seems expensive since its $60/pair.
