The multi mode uses a common fluid with the transmission (atf) while the conventional (non-limited model) case uses gear oil and is sealed from the transmission. That's the limit of my understanding at least.
Yes.I have a 2000 Limited with multi-mode. I bought a used trans from a 2000 sr5 but it does not have multi-mode. Can I simply swap the t-case from mine to the new trans?
Aren't there two transmission designations between the two? a340h and a340f? Or was that strictly year dependent?
