t-case swap tutorial?

Im looking to swap my 2000 Ltd t-case onto a trans from an sr5. I looked it up in the manual but it starts taking apart the case from the rear. Can i separate the trans right where it connects to the trans and simply swap that section?

For those who don't know, the Ltd has the AWD selector whereas the sr5 does not.

Yes, you can simply swap the t-case. No need to dis-assemble it for removal.
