Gertrude... How the hell you come up with that name...LOL.

My fiance named my old car, a Mazda Protege, Matilda. I liked the "ugly girl" name and so I had to figure something out for the 4Runner. Gertrude brings to mind big, strong, willing to go anywhere and conquer any obstacle at will. Lol

No cats, magnaflow race muffler. Lol

you're from traverse right? have you ever thought of taking the 4runner to the Silver Lake sand dunes?

On my list but haven't made it yet. I go to twisted trails though, and am going this weekend even.

well rumor around the water cooler is that TOYOTA and 4wd/toyota-owner are having a huge meet there in the summer(buddy works R&D for toyota-usa and TRD).

Only one way to find out! It's a dual in/out muffler so it basically acts like an h pipe to keep everything happy. There's also going to be some good bends in the exhaust to get around everything. Will know Wednesday when I get it back.

I wonder how it's going to sound compared to a Flowmaster Super 44 dual in/out. I've been thinking about doing true duals with one. My brother has it on his Grand Wagoneer with a 360 and headers, and it's easily the best sounding Waggy I've heard!

I'll be posting before and after recordings. Of course my before are open pipe and cats but it'll be a good comparison in noise. Lol

They're still working on it. They had to find header bolts as the stock ones were really corroded and the nuts wouldn't come off. Should have it tomorrow though.
