T4R.org Patches

Would the forum like to have t4r.org patches? For those of you that put patches on your headliner, cargo boxes, fridge insulation, girls scout sashes, whatever. I personally collect patches from ski mountains, National Parks, State Parks, landmarks, 14er hikes, and even places like Roswell, NM.

I have estimates for two sizes currently (6" and 10"). These would be the same logo as the 'type B' that momo has designed for us.



The colors have yet to be determined but I was probably going to go with a black background with silver stitching. This would be the most neutral, IMO.

This is to begin the process of ordering so I need to gather information of whether or not this is a good idea. Assuming we can get at least a 50 patch commitment, pricing will be as follows:

6" long patches will be $9 shipped via USPS
10" long patches will be $15 shipped via USPS


Momo is entertaining a "Shield" logo for the patch. I don't have pricing for that yet. For a shield patch that was 3"x 3", it would probably be similar to the cost of the 6" long patch ($9).

Please post up your interests or opinions so I can begin to gather information.

Great idea! Didn't even think about that.

Would you guys mind sharing where you'd use these patches? This may help with what backing I may order them in. I was going to go with self adhesive or iron on.

It's a pretty robust, waterproof messenger bag; they offer a few different types now. I started using them in college since I'd ride my bike (bicycle - heavily customized IRO track bike) to class every day. I needed something that wouldn't soak my laptop/notes in the rain and wasn't too bulky to ride in traffic with.

They offer a lifetime replacement for anything that breaks (I've had two bags about 7 years now and nothing has broken yet). Now I use them for anything from camping to my carry on for flights.
