While I'm down with meeting at a trail,especially Wildomar because that is so close to me, I think you begin excluding those who have no desire to take their vehicles off-road. I would vote (if anyone were to ask) to stay with the original plan of a meet and greet. If the structure of that is not your cup of tea then we can plan a trail run some other time.

I wasn't saying everyone has to go off-roading, just suggesting that we met closer to a trail for those who wanted to break off for something different after the initial meeting. There's only so much to do outside a fast food joint.
You guys have fun, I'm going to pass since this is mostly a 3rd gen thing so a parking lot meet wouldn't be very applicable to me.

See and that is what happened last time. We would love to get all Gen's out there and not just 3rd Gen since IMO all have their merits and look good. Hopefully we will get some from each Gen.
I will note that I have posted runs for the local area and so far have only had 3 people from here go, Kellog, ProudRunner, and Flyte. I would love to wheel with any and all comers from Never been off-road before to very experienced. Not into high-speed since my rig isnt set up for it but more expedition get out in the back country at a slow to moderate pace.

The next big Toyota event and realyl the only one i know of that has a lot of Toyotas is Tin Benders Jamboree out at Johnson Valley in April. It has SUV-hardcore crawling runs. Moneies go to the FOJV fund to help fight to keep the area open for OHV use. Other hten that the second largest off-road event west of the Mississipi is next weekend March 5-7 out in Turckhaven Hills near Ocotillo Wells/ Salton Sea. Home of Tierra Del Sol Four Wheel Drive Club of San Diego! - Home for info. all the procedes go to a charity over 110k in raffle prizes and 90-100 vendors out there. ProudRunner and I are going to TDS leaving Friday. PM me if you are interested and can exchange numbers.
I thought there WERE plans to maybe hit a trail afterwards? Is this no longer the case? I'm in either way.....
HB 4x4, sorry for misunderstading your suggestion but I was thinking you meant meet at a trail and go from there. If you can't make it to this one, I hope to meet you on a trail run at some point. I've been going with Pikeman and it seems he's always willing to go. I hope a 4th Gen shows up because I am thinking about getting the wife one. I have been able to look at the 5th gens, but am not sold on the design yet, more importantly the wife isn't sold on the 5th Gen....and the price....40 some odd grand! Sheesh.

I'm down to run some trails. I'm going whether we just eat and check out everyon'e rigs or go wheelin. Pikeman, I really wish I could have made the last Pilot Rock run when Cleghorn was closed and we met at the Village. Please let me know when you guys have another saturday or sunday run coming up, I wanna go! I'll see if I can go to TDS next weekend and Johnson Valley in April too.

For sure will let you know Brian, I am still a newbie by all accounts. Pikeman is more of the season veteran, I am still learning and truly enjoy going on runs. We usually go out about twice a month, next week we will be going to tds so you are more than welcome to come. That goes for other members as well, will be looking forward to meeting other members in two weeks.

I had posted this on all gen forums but got slammed with a multiple post warning, I was hoping to get all gen's out there just to check out each others ride and maybe get some ideas and friendships started. This is definitely open to all gen's.
I'm planning on coming flyte, and I have a 2009 Runner Sport 4X4. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and learning all I can from their experience with lifts and offroad tires. Just went over 3,000 miles, and really need a trail run for the lubrication requirements of 10 miles or more a month. Haven't been in 4 wheel drive since the last week of December.
