T4R owner's, whats your camp set up?

Hello T4R owners,
I figure I'd start a new thread about each others camp setup. It could be in the car, or a tent set up or whatever. Gives each other good ideas on what to do with our setups in the car or outside the car.

Here's my 4th gen:
Don't have pics inside the car, but when I sleep in the car I'll use the side storages on the rear wheel wells as a night stand for my phone, knife, camera, water and flash light. Put my wallet and other valuables in the secret compartment in the glove box. Rear water bottle holders for water, extra socks. Sleep on a foam pad. It's comfy.

When I sleep outside the car, I'll have pockets in the tent for whats necessary. Knife, flashlight, water and camera. Leave all my other things in the rear storage or secret compartment in the glove box.

Plywood and 3/4 pipe and flanges. It is in 2 sections. Rear goes up to the back seat and a forward that overlaps the back while driving then slides foward once we slide the front seats foward. My son and I have slept on it multiple times. Combined we are over 500lb and both over 6ft. The Exped Duo fit great.

The flanges are pricey being I used 16 of them.

Here is my camp setup from last weekend. Pretty simple. Always sleep in my tent or hammock unless it is truly torrential downpour or some other crazy weather.

I currently use a REI Half Dome 2 Plus as my main tent, and an ENO DoubleNest for my hammocking needs.

The table and chair are also from REI and that is what I use for cooking and chilling basically. Don't always use the table, but since I had a lot of room at this campsite, I figured I'd break it out. And speaking of cooking, that set of RIDGID boxes is my kitchen setup. Bottom is a sealed box that I keep all of my non-perishables and non-refrigerated items in. The top is all of my kitchen stuff like my stove, pots/pans, utensils, and more. The top fits everything perfectly, but the bottom is pretty bulky and annoying for short trips lol. But they fit together so perfectly lol.

Camp Chef stove to cook with, fold down table on tire rack for prep work and boxes for storage. I usually have a camping equipment box and and cooking equipment box. Just got RTT, so that will change the set up.

Thanks Matt. the table is a basic folding table, I don't remember where I bought it. Probably from Dicks, Big 5 or one of the other general sporting goods stores. it is nice because it is small and the leg height is adjustable. Chairs are a pain because they take up a lot of space, but they are nice for sitting around when you get to camp. I usually put them on the roof and tie them down.

I usually go pretty simple. Typically rock climbing as well so seats down and loaded with gear.

Camp outside in my Marmot Catalyst tent and usually bring along my Eno double and fly for friends.

Planning on adding aux lights on back of truck for the nice camp sites that you can back into!

Good to know, I'll keep a look out for that table... Been looking for something like that. Compact, yet big.

Yea, chairs are a pain/take lots of space, but SO worth it.

I have a big huge Kelty (6 man) tent that I can standup in with a vestibule darned with an 6x3 ft outdoor rug. I don't like dragging dirt into my sleeping area. I pack 2 camp chairs, butane stove, and a mountain bike. I ran this setup in my Gen 3 1999 SR5 for years.

I have not yet been camping in my Gen 5 2016 SR5P, but I plan to go to a mountain bike fest in WV in July. Maybe I'll post pics when I get back.

Planning to upgrade the aux. lighting to improve light around camp. I currently have two LEDs up on top, rear facing, and two built into the bumper. The bumper ones are more useful, but still too much light in the eyes. So, I'm thinking about some Rigid A Series lights mounted under the rear and middle of truck to cast light on the ground. Basically rock lights, but I don't intend to go rock crawling at night. Anyone have experience with this type of lighting?

My friends rig has the kind of lighting you're talking about, mounted right under the bumper. It makes a good way to see where you are going, but makes shadows really easy if the terrain isn't all that flat.

My personal favorite was a light mounted on the roof rack, so it points downwards into the camp sight, rather than it being at/close to eye level. At some angles, it'll get in your eyes, but most of the time, it was perfectly fine.
