I knew a guy that stored 4 tires in a closet for a year and a half with a humidifier and filled up the water when he got around to it. No idea how well that worked.

Had some LED strips left over from my motorcycle build, so i installed some under the hood.

Had some LED strips left over from my motorcycle build, so i installed some under the hood.

been debating this for so long now haha. Sometime when I need LED strips I'll just add some to my order. Truck looks good man, how are you liking the tires?

Very cool mod for not a lotta mula, definitely recommend. Tires are awesome as far as wheeling goes, on road im getting about 14-15 mpg with stock gears and the balancing beads inside don't work worth a damn, done ruined my tie rod ends. just gonna take the beads out and do it the old fashioned way, right after i replace my tie rods that is :frusty:

If we get together for a meet again you have to help me install some of those lights. 75% of my work I do is at night and those would be perfect.

Those hood lights are super bright! Congrats on the skids, gives you a lot more confidence knowing if you come down on something your protected.

Just got back from Slickrock long weekend.

5 mins into the camp i got a flat from a tree branch somehow, needless to say i was pretty bummed.

All was good untill the last hard obstacle of stair case, most people took the easy line, but me and a couple of people tried the hard line up the stiars, the combo of bald spare at 10psi and sharp rock popped my only spare. so i was on 3 good tires and stuck, good thing one of my other friend lend me his 33 so i can limp home, long weekend there are more pictures from my friends that i will up load later, to all tho wheel without a full size spare, DON"T.

It looks like we've been doing similar mods lately. Under hood lights, rock lights, & LED light bars. I have an addiction for LED lights too!

Just Led strips, not bad compared to "real rock lights"

good looking truck. I really like the lighting you've done. Might have to look into doing the led strips under the hood, can't be too hard.

We have the same 4WD badge! I used to wheel Isuzu's and took the 4wd badge off of one to add a little bit of my past passion to my Toyota. Hope you don't mind. anda:

Your rear axle has some good flex. That last pic from your slickrock trip back in june had me tripping out for a second. Lol.
