Liking all of the LEDs. I'm a huge fan of them, combine that with a 4Runner and you'll have me staring.

I recently bought a strip of white ones to do the hood lighting, and didn't ever get around to it. After seeing yours placed and how they light, I think I'll do mine!

Wow 5 month with no update haha i wonder why my build never get any hits lol
Anyways here are some mods finally, thanks to my friend ryan i got a hold of an ARB snorkel, i won't go into detail im just gonna say i got it for a really good price.

Install without the templet was hard, i messed up a little on the main hoole on the fender but no biggie fenders are always replaceable, over all it was a pretty easy and straight forward install

And recently toyota was doing their name your ride thing online and i got a name emblem for my truck.

alright see you guys in 6 month lol

i have to be honest, those led strips are pretty bright for what they are but they are nothing like the picture, i had the camera on a long exposure so they look a lot brighter than they actually are. i think i got them on amazon, just search for water proof led strips, most of them are pretty much the same.

This is kinda sad but the last time i really took the 4runner out was summer 2016, Finally took the 4runner to Rubicon. Truck did awesome the 35s, short wheel base and armor made quick works of the trail. Here are some pictures.

Nice truck, and nice tent. I've got the same one. The easy set up is great.

Don't see too many 3rd gens run the Rubicon trail. The stuffed 35's look good!

so this happened

going down mojave trail, nice and gentle like. balljoint pops, front passenger tire gets jammed under the truck, slides 20feet.

Groups fixes the truck on the spot, towed home 500 miles. good times.

PS: never use moog! OEM FTW

I’m curious to see how many of us cary extra ball joints with us on the trail? & when something like this happens, UBJ’s, LBJ’s & CV’s...

How did you limp out of this situation?

Took me a second to figure out what happened. Hopefully the damage is minimal.

had a spare lower BJ, blocked the brake line, left the half shaft of the cv in there and pressed the upper balljoint back in. was enough to limp me off the trail and into town.

No much has happened, i repaired the truck, new oem upper lower ball joints, new tie rods and new stop tech brake lines. All is well.
