I decided not to cut my frame so that's completely flush on the bottom and face.

I'm thinking of chopping the back half and tubing it off then plating the bumper in off of that but no ones gone that extreme with our 4Runner so I'd be going in blind on it

Huh can't really picture that. I'd do the angle iron like I did in the frame and then make a crossmember farther back.

Awesome job on the bumper! I'm going to be building something similar hopefully in the spring. I'm not sure if I'm going to chop off the rear of the frame either. Very impressive build, thanks for sharing.

Clean build. Was there any room for you to shave it up more for more clearance or was that the most you could get? I'm looking into building one that's gonna be super high clearance

I know wish I cut the frame back. I know Inv4derzim or whatever his username is had a good idea for one. He was talking about cutting it back and angling the frame.

We have some discussion on my thread here, but click on that link, "another rear bumper build" I listed on that page. That is similar to the 4x4labs rear bumper. If you want clearance, you need to cut your crossmember off and make your own.
