TA KO 2s out in Feb?

Saw on TireRack that the new AT KO2s will be out end of February (I thought it was going to be more like mid summer...).

I've been using the stock tires while I determined staying under 285 or going 285s (70s or even 75s requiring lift and re-gear) but this may shorten my plans a bit. Eventually lift will be required for bumper weight issues but I'm not focused on that armor for a few years if possible.

With the TE rim of 7.5", will the 275s require wheel spacers or other rubbing considerations?

I've read that the current KOs are actually a bit smaller size than say the Toyos.

Yes I will preemptively keep searching the forum too!

This tire is already out. I almost bought some from Discount in 285/75/16 and I know someone on here bought them for a 3rd gen. Sizes are some what limited. They are releasing more sizes though throughout the year I believe.

hmm talked to 2 shops in town. 265s are available.. 275s are not...maybe thats why there is the end of feb date on tirerack...

Yes, 275s are basically sold out for now. New shipment at end of Feb is what heard also.

Glad I ordered mine 11/1/14 and got them right away.

Also to answer OP, no you do not need spacers to run 275's on stock TE wheels.

looks like they are back in stock.

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the 275/70/r17s.

They are E load, so that means 45psi.

I'm assuming a regear is not needed, nor lift/rubbing issues???

I think my plan for the next 2 years is going to be stock suspension, 275s, and add some bud-build skids to make up for more high-center possibilities. They want a serious premium for aluminum though! ouch!

FWIW..... a re-gear is not required for lift and 285's.

According to the BFG site, 265's won't be available until March 2015

Another round of 275's have been delivered to suppliers as of March 1st.

I got mine installed yesterday on stock suspension. No rubbing as of yet (I don't expect any given the reviews of everyone else and in addition to the tire fitment guide.) :banana:
