Taco Tunes Subwoofer enclosure

Just noticed that Taco Tunes has released a 12" ported subwoofer enclosure for the 5th Gen 4Runner. Quality looks alright online, but wondering if anyone has any firsthand experience with one yet. Thanks!

I'll let you know when I get mine, ordered a complete system last week. Should ship some time in the next 2 weeks.

Also, if you think $650 is bad the local shop near me that isn't a skeevy back of the van looking spot wanted 900$ for just the fiberglass enclosure

Its way to big for my liking. I like This one a lot more. But im gonna do a custom set up on mine. One a lot like this

That's way too obvious that it's a sub (i.e. rob me!). I guess if i were leasing or didn't keep my vehicles for many years I'd think about it but I'm happy with my hidden enclosure on the other side.

I was waiting on their promise of an enclosure for close to a year, I'm definitely glad that I didn't wait on them since it's huge and unsightly also it doesn't work with third row which I have so definitely glad I didn't go for it

I like the TT box but it looks like it blocks the catch for the cargo cover and it doesn't let the seat recline.

It's the stock JBL enclosure but it's custom because my SR5 doesn't have the JBL system and I modified the enclosure to fit the JL speaker and did it as a custom install using the stock head unit

My truck had the pocket there instead of the subwoofer

Yep, it' uses the cargo cover mounts, which also means it won't work with Rago storage panels either

Too bad. A 12" sub would be nice. I'm not a bass freak but I want to hear that bass drum.
