tacoma bilsteins 5100 question

I found a used pair for a good price on some rear shocks but will the rear shocks from a 02 tacoma fit on my 97 runner?

It would not be a direct fitment. Those shocks have eyes on both top and bottom. Our rear shocks have an eye on the bottom and stem on top. You could buy a stem adapter to put on those shocks, but then that is changing the collapsed and extended length of the shock. It would likely be too long. Do you know what length shock you're looking for? Does your 4runner have stock suspension on it now?

Yea im running stock right now
But i plan to run 906 springs in the rear
Im just not sure which shocks i wanna throw with it
