CV shafts

Hey Doc thanks for sharing,my next question would be,do i need the CV shafts from the Tacoma too. If the knuckle i'm buying comes with a ABS tone ring do i need to i still swap my 4runner hubs on the Tacoma knuckle?

Yes, you need manual shafts.

Idk about the abs I'm about to get rid of mine all together, when I have a free weekend.

I don't think 95.5 Tacomas had ABS. If you want to keep your ABS you will have to swap everything over into your Runner spindles and keep the ABS ring..

Abs

I texted the guy with the knuckles and he said that his Tacoma have ABS,does this mean i can use the entire knuckle w/out doing the hub swap?about the CV shafts will there be any mod on the diff.side of the flanges? Thanks for all your advice guys.

If it has ABS just swap the entire spindle. It will be a lot quicker. No mod on the axles, just get the manual axles.

Now what?

I finally got the parts needed to do the swap, could someone tell me what i need to replace and maybe pics would be nice.i know there is a tool needed to tighten the locknut.the front hubs did not have the ABS maybe he got rear only. Here it is in the back of my 60.
