Tacoma v 4Runner front diff

Do 05 Tacos have the same front diff as the 04 4runner?

Apparently they do. I swapped in a Taco front diff because I found one with 4.10 gears which I needed. (I put an E-locker in the back with 4.10s as well.) It bolted right up, no problems.

I believe mounting might be a hair different, but the housings should be similar if not the same; internals migh be a smidge off due to gear ratio.
