Tag issues...please help!!!

This is probably a small problem to most, but how do I mount a tag on the front of my 2008 4Runner??? The holes don't line up. Any suggestions???

Did your 4runner have a dealer plate holder on it? Where did the holes in your bumper come from? I never paid much attention to it, but it looks like my dealer just drilled small holes or drove the screws directly in the bumper to mount the plate.

I'm not sure if they make a plate holder for the front bumper or not - something I've been meaning to look into but it's like #8,293 on the priority list.

no dealer plate, and the holes were already there. i can tell they weren't drilled. oh well. thank you for answering though

Does your state require a front plate? If not i would leave them off, i wish maine didnt require front plates, looks cleaner without them

No problem, they probably just centered the plate and screwed the screws right into the bumper - at most they probably drilled a very small pilot hole.

Since California requires the front plate, my dealer already had holes drilled in the front mount to attach the wrap and plastic dealer plate (no dealer name pasted on the back of this vehicle).

I do too, I put dark plate cover (also illegal in IL) to make the plate blend in a little
