The will fit, but they are not the same so do it in pairs.

I already have a '07 sport with led tail lights but I was thinking of doing this at one point on my '04.

Another question I should ask for OP is: would he need to install a load resistor to handle LED taillights? I noticed when I replaced my stock DRL's with LED DRL's on my '07, I needed to order a pair of load resistors so it would not hyper-flash.

Not sure if this may result in the same if installing LED taillights on an '04

I don’t think the load resistors would be needed for the tail lights since the turn signals are still halogen in the LED tail lights too. The only LED part is the actual stop light.

No load resistors needed for brake lights, just turn signals. Although you might have to if you converted every brake bulb (including 3rd) to LED.

No resistors are needed. It's plug and play, probably ten minutes worth of work. As has been said, only the park lights and brake lights are LED. The turn signals are still incandescent bulbs. This is my swap on my 2003.

The reason I asked is because someone put a newer one in my drivers side that was damaged. I wanted to be sure there wouldn't be any wiring changes. I have a 2004 with a newer left side and an older right tail light. Looks odd.
