Tailgate hatch handle cover

So this trim piece is looking pretty ragged (2003) and the emblem fell off also, which I still have. What is the best way to restore this? All the replacements on ebay are chrome only. I have the grey trim, so is there a plastidip color that matches this? I guess the emblem just glues on?

If you buy the piece from Toyota (use partznet or village toyota), they come color matched to the truck on the 2004 - 2006 models. You could get one of those if Toyota used the same gray in later years.

Otherwise, they are pretty easy to pull off so if you want to paint it another color (or grey), I'd pull it off and try your hand using high quality spray paint. The rust-oleum universal advanced formula spray paints have an awesome nozzle that gives you really good results.
