Tailgate Noise

HOWDY. I'VE GOT AN 89 T4R AND THE LITTLE PLASTIC CLIPS THAT HOLD THE TAIL GATE SUPPORTS FROM RATTLING ARE FAR GONE. NOW THE RATTLING IS DRIVING ME NUTS. HAS ANYONE OUT THERE COME UP WITH AN IDEA FOR THIS OR KNOWS IF TOYOTA STILL OFFERS THOOSE LITTLE CLIPS

Those clips are still availible from toyota. I just replaced them on my truck last year. They have to be ordered though. On one of my old beat up first gen T4R's I slid a cut piece of an old bicycle inner tube cut the same length as the gate support over each side with a V cut out where it folds. That also eleminated the annoying noise.
