You don't even need a Haynes manual. All the info is there in the link, along with pics. Also, guys at Autozone will print you off instructions specific to your truck, too. Good luck.

Oh cool, I didn't know they would do that...I might have a project on my hands this weekend...might have to wait until I have my expert friend come over...which might be a month or so...

i just ordered new ebc slotted rotors and ebc green 6000 pads as i have been having this crazy shaking issue with my 4runner as well i just aired up my tires to 50psi and it solved the problem a bit but i think the rotors are toast so im changing those out.

Dude, i just did my brakes. I bought rotors at advance auto $80 for 2 and 4 ceramic brake pads for $30. took me bout 1hr to do my breaks (front). I just have to take my truck too the shop to get a balaneing

Weekend project! You can do the entire front brake pads and rotors in under an hour.Takes more time to get the tools rounded up,truck jacked up and secured,than it is to do the actual work.Give it a try!! Kurt :surfer:

Under an hour? That isn't bad. I still need to wait until my boss or my dad can help me...I am car dumb.

We all start somewhere. I could probably knock out each side in 15 min each. First time? Took me about 3 hours.
