I thought Goo Gone would do the trick...but it didn't.

Stoner Tarminator did remove the tree sap.

True, Bug and Tar remover does take the paint off.

New favorite;

This weekend I used Mothers clay bar system on my white '04 sport. The carnauba cleaner wax worked like a charm on the tar spots and contaminants! without taking off paint. I'm impressed.

i'm from old skewl. I just use a very hot face towel and wipe off the tar. I know i spent all day doing this on one of my former cars.

that tarminator is pimptastic. but good old wd40 works just fine. for tar.
for sap use rubbing alcohol
