Undercoat rust protection

Anybody here familiar with Patriot Rust Defense undercoating? I am curious how it compares to Fluid Film. Also, wondering the pros and cons of lanolin based Fluid Film vs the solvent, asphalt, and wax of the Patriot stuff? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have no experience with the one you listed, but I jut started experimenting with the Blaster Surface Shield on my Polaris XP900. Although I live in a relatively rust free area (South Texas), I plan on coating my underside with Surface Shield for the title surface rust I have.

Might be if your go overboard and cause swelling, but generally just existing is bad for rubber. That Patriot stuff looks pretty much like Ziebart trash, keep walking.

Yes, per their website it will cause non-oil resistant rubber to swell, and soften.
It is still a good product, just have to be careful when applying versus Woolwax which can be sprayed on anything.

Asphalt based-Patriot- coatings can trap moisture under them and you will never know. Use Fluid Film black if you want that look.
