Well, i am finally figuring this build thread thing out so here she goes.

My 4runner started out as a stock 2001 sr5 from Wisconsin. Since then I have moved to Arizona, and done a couple things to it.

She set for 6 or so months wrecked, then I was able to get my settlement money and fix her. I replaced the left side trailing arm, axle housing, wheel, and axle I had to get ol Burt dirty.

Looks like it fared pretty well considering. Nice looking truck too. Are those fender flares stock? I don't recall ever seeing that style with the groove in them.

you know, since then I have taken them off, but I have no idea who makes them and I looked and looked on the interwebs and couldn't find a single thing. I ripped them off since I couldn't find a replacement, and it bugged the heck outta me not have 4 flares! lol...

I have some picture to upload still, but this is all I could get done in a night.

Thanks for the kind words!

I picked up these Rancho 9000 coilovers with Tundra TRD springs, 2 sets of LC coils, and 2 sets of shocks for 220 bucks. Pretty good deal I think!

And this is the after lift pics

I have a lot of rake, but it does not bother me. I figure I am going to always be hauling something so no reason to complain!

Keep in mind this is my poor man's lift, so you can criticize all you wish!

I actually live in Pinal right by Gila River Indian Rez but my parents like in maricopa county. I was just on Alma school today! Haha had to check the Thrift stores to see if I could find anything good!

Good to see someone using a "budget minded build" and wheeling with it (assuming you did just throw that mud on) What are you generally going to be towing? I have often wondered if I could tow a suzuki samurai with my 4runner :director::ballchain:

thanks man. Basically I am poor and found these parts for cheap, and they happened to work out very well.

I will be towing 2 motorcycles on and aluminum trailer, and whatever else I can haul on the 6x8 trailer. haha!

Whats wrong with being poor! It improves character haha. Ohh thats sweet bikes would be fun man! You should throw a little sami on there and let me know how you fare.

LOL I must have crazy amounts of character then! I will let you know how towing goes ascending 4,000 feet.

Truck looks good. You consider selling the other rear setup?

Yeah man, I got 9.25 lc wraps and the same rancho rear shocks, but the only thing that's holding me back from putting them on is I need to buy new lower shock bushings for them. And thanks for the compliment.
