TurboTax. I was planning on trying H&R's program one year (I think it's called TaxCut), but decided against it since I've had great experiences with TurboTax.
I've been using it for 10+ years, since dropping the CPA without any problems and it's really easy to use. The biggest thing to be careful with, is data entry and not mistyping any numbers. If you're employer uses ADP as their payroll processor, it's even easier with the importing of W2's.
TurboTax pays for itself after doing one return. If you help other family members file their returns it's a great ROI.
Just last year, I started to E-file my Federal returns too. Saves the hassle of standing in line at the post office. I didn't do it before because folks have said E-file returns are easier to audit... but it's not like someone is going to read a paper return--I'm sure those are scanned and OCR'ed into their systems anyways.

just my 2 cents i use h&r blocks taxcut online. keeps all my records from previous years. i just have to plug in new stuff but you can have it all dwnloaded to your online file. very secure and i file everything electronically so it direct deposits straight to my bank account. easy peasy
I used TaxAct when I was single and had no problems. Last year I got married and bought a house, so I went to a tax guy. This year is a bit easier (single 1040, no first time buyer credit) so I switched to TurboTax. I've been very impressed so far. It found student loan payment and retirement contribution credits that turned by 54 dollar tax debt into a refund.
