I like your 4R. Even the front end paint. Adds character.
I wish I could do my 4-runner up with a 3" lift and 33's, but it just aint happening. It's a want and not a need. Instead it gets struts and 32's. haha.
Not wanting to go into your private life, but to have a rig like that in highschool is pretty sweet. Keep the extra money. Invest it or leave it in the bank. In the future you'll probably be thankful. I put 2 grand into investments when I was 16 at the advice of my father. I was saving for a dirt bike instead.
That 2 grand was almost lost when a uranium truck went into a river, but now, a few (ok, numerous years) later, it's almost 8 grand. Low risk investment so it could have been more, but I could have also spent it on some trivial crap and not have that money. BTW, I also have owned 8 other motorcycles in that time.
You gotta remember vehicles are the worst possible investment you can make. Do a few things to enjoy it, but don't go overboard. Be happy you have a nice 4-runner and enjoy the bad gas mileage. haha.
Probably didn't want a life's lesson, but most highschool students on here have nicer 4-runners then me. I just know any money I put into it might as well be thrown out the sunroof. I will get the enjoyment of having it, but come time to sell it'll have no returns. Sometimes negative returns.
