TBU Brembo

So i currently have the TBU with EBC greenstuff pads and EBC slotted and dimpled rotors. I notice a bit of brake fade when coming downhill, plus my pads are approaching minimum, so i figured i do some research on what options i have to replace them with that will give me less fade. I came across these Brembos:

Anyone have any experience with these? If not, what other pad/rotor combos do you recommend? Personally i dont mind if they make a lot of brake dust since my current setup leaves a lot of brake dust.

No experience with the pads but had those Brembo rotors on my Tundra. Not worth $70 apiece for rotors made in Mexico. Since then I’ve been using plain (not drilled/slotted/dimpled) high carbon content rotors,probably made in Asia but they’re nowhere near the Brembo prices. Chain stores sell them under their own name, I’ve purchased them from Pep Boys and Autozone or Advance Auto Parts, whoever had the best price at the time. They were all painted at the non-contact areas,unlike Brembo

I’ve used both series of Greenstuff and hate them,the more expensive ones are supposed to be “virtually dust free”,which is a load of BS,they’re just as dusty. I’m hearing good things about Raybestos EHT pads,I’ll probably use them at the next brake job.

I currently am running that set-up and have had no issues. In the past I have seen cheap rotors warp where the plain Brembos hold strong with consistent quality and durability. Not only in my own experience, but also seen this at my friends shop as well.
The first round with these rotors I ran Hawk pads and had no issues. This time around I went with the Brembo pads you listed and they have been great so far.

I've used the Brembo rotors (amazon) for years on both my 4Runners. I've never changed them and they're still rocking just fine. I think I have the Bosch Quietcast pads (non-chamfered) as well. Setup has worked for a long time and stops on a dime.

I bought those rotors when they were $42, back in 2009. They work well.

I run those rotors and akebono pads. No braking issues at all, and relatively low dust. ~80k on both the rotors and the pads.

Had 1 caliper freeze on me....lifetime warranty....no other issues.

Aftermarket parts are not always cheaper. I've never experience any fade with them coming down the pass on I-80 into Sacramento. The road goes from 7,000 ft to sea level so there's lots of braking involved lol.
