TE waterline?

I am not sure if this is the correct terminology, but at what point is the waterline on the TE? As in, at what height is the vehicle safe from water (any kind of air intakes and all)? Are there remedies to do yourself? Of course, besides the obvious doorline, assuming that is water tight and stock size tires.

I would like to know how deep I can go. On the same note, how steep front/back and side/side?

If anyone knows, I would really appreciate the info.

From the little, but highly enjoyable, off-roading I have done in this beast, I find myself becoming VERY comfortable with it's capabilities, but I don't want to over-do it!

Good question. I think you have to use the lowest point that water can get into a vent (breather, fuel tank, etc.), an electrical junction box, or the air intake.

If you find a definitive answer, let me know.

Do the rear diff breather mod before you go into water deeper then the rear differential. That would be very expensive if you get water in it and tear it up.
