heres a short teaser video of some light off roading i did in a cool spot i found. ive since revisited with better equipment. expect good quality pictures to follow soon (have a friend with a good eye for photography, and his 20d doesnt hurt either) as well as a longer but still short video displaying the 1st gen's visual glory (have a friend with a good eye for recording, and his 720p HD cam doesnt hurt either). Video will come in few weeks after edit but pictures will come soon (hint, my sig and avatar are from the set i speak of)

Great video of a great truck, makes me want to go out now and do some wheeling.. I am waiting for the next one.
 
Nice rig.

The area your are wheelin' in reminds me of a place in iceland where I went on a rescue mission for my friend who "nearly" rolled over. The friggin truck was standing on two tires and the running board, no lies, and was just waiting to fall on the side and down the 80m long hill... the truck was like that for 6 or 7 hours. :P That lucky son of a b***h.
 
Ulfr: interesting situation to be in. did it take you 6-7 hours to get out there or is that how long it took to properly rescue it?

the clip you see here was a different occasion than the one that was recorded and photographed more maturely. this video was something i put together using a combination of stills and video shots from 2 different cell phones. i would have kept the original audio on there but the .3ga cell phone format was being really weird and not allowing me to access the audio layer while editing. the video to come is also on a tripod and contains more footage of the area and its surroundings.

It was the time it took him, slowly evacuating the car, try to get it to ballance correctly (so it wouldn't rollover) and walk few miles to get a connection to his cell phone to call me, and me getting ready and getting to the friggin place... It took me like 20 mins to tow the rig out of the mess... Hehe. Quite ironic, few months later I rolled my old truck over...

Unfortunatly I had no camera at that time so no pictures of this. ;/

But I'll be lookin' forward to see your pics. It's an interesting rig you have there. :)
