I was going to wait until I was doing the install to post up any pictures but I just couldn't wait. This came in the post today. I won't be able to install for a few more weeks as I'm about to hit finals here at school. Just thought I would share some of my excitement. SS 1.2.

Yep, I'm a Kiwi. Moved to the USA in 1995 and have been here ever since. I've lived in Hawaii and California but now I live in Montana.

I've yet to read any bad comments about a Sonoran lift. Can't wait to see the before and after shots
 
what kit did you get? I'm probably going to buy bilsteins pretty soon. I just want to get to know what all I'll need. What kind of coils/spring and just other stuff like that.

So which state do you like the best? I love Montana, I've spent a lot of time up there. Is that TheraFlu because your lift is so sick? dahdah pshhh. Congrats!

I got the Sonoran Steel System 1.2. If you google them, their website will have a list of all the things you get with the kit. I can't imagine you would need anything else than what the kit provides.

Everywhere I've lived has had some pretty unqiue qualities. I really like Montana except that winter is REALLY long and very cold. I've been thinking about moving to Colorado where there is better snow and more sun. :dancin:

And yes... the TheraFlu IS because my lift is so sick. AHAHAHAAH!!!! :gun6:
 
Are there speed limits on the highways there? or are the speeding tickets .01? I heard those two thing bout montana.

HAHAH... Yeah, when I lived in Hawaii I had heard that there was no speed limits in Montana too and I thought it would be the coolest place to live. I think that's how it used to be, but no longer. Highway speeds are 75 mph which is nice and there arn't all that many people/traffic around. I think I remember reading that Montana is rated #2 for the most fun driving state. There is a lot of open road and great scenery. Plenty of room to put your foot down. Just have to look out for deer. And bears. And hill-billys.. :thumb3:
 
Many of the highways in Montana used to have no daytime speed limit and just a restriction of 85 mph at night. One of the main reasons (if not thee reason) was because a lot of rich people (many from Europe) were shipping their cars to Montana to blast them down the highway leagally because the Autobahn is starting to get very busy and congested most days now. Montana's gov. didn't like the influx of foreigners and fast cars so they imposed speed limits. It was awesome while it lasted.

I also got stopped once with an ex-girlfriend (who's family was in MT), and the ticket was a little more than $.01 (IIRC like $40), but what's funny is we paid the officer off right then and there. He even gave us change! Not sure if that's still how they do that or not.

no one else thought it was funny that he put todays newspaper next to the box like he was holding it for ransom!?!?!? :bravo:
 
Ok so I Know I said it was going to take a few weeks for me to install the lift but as it turns out.... yeah, I've been working on it all afternoon. Got the fronts in and the rears are ready to go. It's midnight so I thought I'd stop and start again in the morning. Once I'm finished I'll start a new tread and post up a ton of photos. :beer:
